This is how we spent our November 20th this year (I know we're backtracking here, just bare with me!)...in shorts and t-shirts in 75 degree beautiful sunny weather at the L.A. Zoo! Zak was working at an office in Beverly Hills so Belen and I decided to explore the Zoo together and had a great time!

Above: Watching the "raffes" as Belen would say (a.k.a the giraffes).
Above: leading the way...for those of you who don't know...Belen is the most fiercely independent little girl I've ever had the privilege of knowing...let alone raising...hence the much needed leash and harness. I used to think they were so cruel, NOW... well, lets just say I've changed my mind!

We have a leash for Eliot, too...it's pretty helpful sometimes.
