Doc is pretty sure this little one is a GIRL!
At 22 weeks now it's been a pretty typical pregnancy.
Minimal morning sickness.
Fatigue.
I started having Braxton Hicks contractions at about 13 weeks.
I began progesterone injections at 16 weeks to prevent preterm labor per my history.
I am certainly larger, sooner than with either of my previous little ones.
Which lessons the comfort level pretty quickly.
I'm amazed by how strong and active this little girl is.
It feels like she's tumbling any time she's awake,
pushing off one side of my abdomen, then the other.
Enjoying the freedom of her new body.
Enjoying life!
I've tried allowing Zak to feel her kicks,
but they never seem to happen in same place consecutively!
I'm enjoying my "alone" time with her,
getting to know her before I have to share her with the world.
It is such a blessing to carry a baby.
A difficult challenge, but a blessing all the same.
I've been so unsure of myself along the way...
Can I take care of a third?
Can my soul, which thrives in peace and contentment, handle the chaos that is bound to erupt with the introduction of a new little one?
I'm remembering all those sweet moments nursing Belen or Camden.
Spiritual moments.
I think I can.
And if I need help,
I promise to ask.
This sweet, active little girl is being sent to our family for a reason.
She belongs with us.
