Whelp...here we are...

I don't know if blogging
will actually be something that I will be all that great at...especially with my daghter who likes to play with the keyboard while I'm typing but I will tr.y Argh she is enjoying playing with the arrow keys at the mentmo.

I've decided that spending some time blogging may actually be therapeutic for me...You see, I am not today, nor have I ever been a "scrapbooker," I wish I were at times...you know, when you're looking through someones beautifully organized family scrapbooks...so I went out, bought all the greatest scrap booking tools and gadgets....then sat down and looked at everything in utter horror thinking what on earth am I supposed to do with all this?! I've decided instead to order books online...you just download their program, organized your photos, type in your journal entries, electronically send everything back to this company and wahlah, you get a hardbound, published and personalized book of your very own!!! Someone out there deserves a big kiss from me!

So , here are some recent pictures of us!

This is a picture of Belen at the Eastern Idaho State Fair a few days ago....It was so hot out that day that she decided just to chill out with a cool bottle of water...Can't say I blame her!

She is now 7 1/2 months old and learning amazing new things everyday. She hasn't quite figured out how to crawl on her hands and knees but she gets around pretty quickly by doing a little military crawl. Last Sunday in church we were having trouble getting her to nap so Zak took her out in the hall and let her crawl around and tire herself out...well, she took off down the hallway, started slowing down at 20 feet and put her head down on the floor after 25 feet!

We recently decided to put up some safety gates to make life a bit easier on mom...Here is a picture of Belen's first encounter with the roadblock.

You can even see the little tear in her eye...poor thing!
