Wow, we have had quite the whirlwind summer! Zak is working hard and Belen and I are currently visiting family is Washington but I thought I'd steal away a moment to post some much needed new photos of our busy little bee!
My parents own about a half acre in the little town I grew up in southwest Washington. It sure is beautiful and green here. Unfortunately, Zak had to stay home and work this trip, otherwise I'm sure we'd be spending all our time hiking in the Gorge, exploring the wonder and majesty of Mt. St. Helens, and maybe even making the 1.5 hour drive to introduce Belen to the frigid waters of the Pacific Ocean on the Oregon coastline....but, he is not here so we are subject to the whim and fancy of those who wouldn' t mind carting us around...in other words..we've been spending much of our time hanging out in my parents backyard. It been really nice. The weather has been on the warm side, but there always seems to be a nice breeze not to mention plenty of shade. My parents also own a few small pets that Belen absolutely adores. Especially the dog, Sadie. There are also two birds and a skittish cat that we don't see much of until after Belen goes to bed a night, he he he!
