Yesterday we spent the day at Murray Family Farms right here just outside of town. We started early to try to avoid the heat and looked forward to taking the kiddos on train rides, hay rides and having them help us to pick some fresh produce right of the vine/tree. It didn't all go as planned but we did buy some great fruit from the on site Farmers Market after spending some time at their Petting Zoo and Hay Maze. All and all it was a great time!

So, if you ever find yourself in south central California, of all places, stop by Murray Family Farms! I think we will definitely go back for some winter squash and pumpkin in a couple months! Maybe then we will get to ride the train or go on a hay ride.
