They had trouble finding the baby's heartbeat with the doppler at my appt yesterday so they just did an ultrasound. All is well, baby looks great. They said the baby was just moving around too much, which was obvious by the ultrasound. The doc. just decided to take a peek to see if we could see anything...and we did!!! I still will need an ultrasound between 18 and 22 weeks for diagnostic purposes and we will get to bring home pictures and videos of our little one that I will post at that time. We should get a clearer picture of the sex then also...but it looked pretty darn clear in yesterdays ultrasound!!!
Its a boy!?! The glucose test actually went really well. I felt normal (I don't know if its good to feel "normal" after drinking that much sugar :) and they tested my sugar - normal. I think because it is typically low the sugar brought it back up - so it didn't make me feel icky. Glad thats over though!
